TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: 25/09/2025


These Terms and Conditions govern the agreement between The Tipsy Imp Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and the customer (“you” or “your”) for the provision of mobile bar services. By confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.


1. Bookings & Reservations

• All bookings must be confirmed in writing and accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of £250.00. A legally binding agreement shall be formed only upon receipt of the deposit and written confirmation from The Tipsy Imp Limited.
• A written confirmation will include a breakdown of requested services. Until confirmation, all bookings remain provisional and may be released after 14 days.
• You agree not to rely on any brochure, price list, or verbal statement unless explicitly included in our written agreement. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
• Final guest numbers and selected bar option (cash bar, half-and-half bar, or free bar) must be confirmed in writing at least 4 weeks before the event. Final numbers must be confirmed 2 weeks prior to the event date.
• A minimum spend of £2,000.00 applies for events under 100 guests. If this amount is not met on the day, the shortfall will be invoiced after the event.
• Any changes to booking details, guest numbers, or arrangements must be confirmed in writing.
• Adequate access to the event site is required on the event day, or prior if needed, including any required permits or passes.


2. Payments, Cancellation & Postponement
• Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date. Late payments may incur interest at 2% per month above the Bank of England base rate.
• Cancellation by you:
- More than 8 weeks before the event: No additional charges.
- 4–8 weeks before: 50% of estimated total cost.
- Less than 4 weeks: 100% of estimated total cost.
• Cancellation by us may occur if staff safety or business property is at risk, or due to licensing non-compliance. In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule or provide a refund.
• We are not liable for force majeure events such as natural disasters, pandemics, or legal changes. We will, where possible, work with you to reschedule.


3. Drinks Policy & Corkage
• All drinks consumed during the event must be purchased from The Tipsy Imp Limited unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Guests may not bring their own drinks, including soft drinks. 
Breach may result in confiscation and a £250.00 charge.
• Reception/arrival drinks arranged by you are permitted for the pre-meal period only (max.two drinks per person). We must be informed in advance. We do not supply glassware for externally arranged drinks.
• Table wine and toast drinks provided by you are allowed for the meal only. Excess wine will be returned after the meal. A corkage fee applies. Notify us in advance.
• All other drinks must be provided exclusively by The Tipsy Imp Limited.


4. Glassware
• Glassware hire is available for an additional fee. Breakages will be charged at £2.50 per item post-event.
• If we agree to chill or handle drinks supplied by you, we accept no liability for breakage or spoilage. We will attempt reasonable replacements where appropriate.


5. Service Duration & Event Logistics
• You are responsible for ensuring clear access to the site for us to set up before the event. Delays may affect service timing.
• Final event details must be provided at least 2 weeks before the event. Last-minute changes must be made no later than 24 hours in advance.


6. Social Media & Advertising
• We may use photos or content from your event for promotional purposes. We will not use images provided by you without explicit copyright holder consent.
• Any individual may request to have their face blurred or image removed from published materials.


7. Waste Management
• We will manage and remove all rubbish generated by our service. You are responsible for waste generated by your guests or third parties.


8. Liability & Insurance
• We maintain public liability insurance. However, we are not liable for injury or loss unless caused by our negligence.
• We accept no liability for loss of or damage to personal property at the event.


9. Data Protection
• We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR. Your information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.


10. Jurisdiction
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.


11. Amendments
• We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be notified of changes relevant to your booking.
